Web Design Process
2. PlanningOnce we have gathered all the information we need the next stage is to plan the website. At this point we will create a simple 'site map' which lists all the main topic areas & serves as a guide for any navigation the site needs. At this stage we will also discuss which technologies could be implemented - interactive forms, flash, web video etc.
3. Initial DesignDrawing on the information gathered and your requirements it is now time to determine the look and feel of the site. We will create a prototype that includes logos and overall layouts so you can see what the website will look like.
4. Revisions After receiving a link to your prototype site which you can view online you will have the chance to add further input and make any design changes so that you are 100% happy before we go ahead with the development phase.
5. DevelopmentOnce you have signed off on the prototype site we will then begin the development stage. This is when the actual functioning website will be created.
6. Testing & DeliveryAt this point we will attend to any final details and we will test the site for any browser compatibility issues (differences between different web browsers). We then upload the site to a development area ready for your final approval and then once signed off we move the site to your area to take it live and viewable to the public!
